Class Synopsis

This 3-hour class will assist parents in communicating with each other, their case workers, and their children.  In "Can We Talk", we will explore the various learning styles and how they translate into diverse communication styles.  By comparing and contrasting the various types of communication, we will learn how to understand those around us and make sure we are understood.  Using different types of communication interactions including effective feedback, we will teach others to be good communicators as well.

This class will enable parents to more effectively communicate with each other, case workers, and children, leading to reduced stress and fewer placement disruptions.
