Class Synopsis
This 3-hour class will assist parents in learning about childhood development and how planned developmentally appropriate activities can help troubled children catch up to their peers. Caregivers will learn normal developmental stages and practice activities that can enhance parent-child bonds with any age child. A discussion of barriers to planned activities will also be included.

This class will enable parents to plan activities with their children which will promote healthy child development and strengthen parent-child bonds. Suggested activities will support cognitive and psychosocial development of children while encouraging listening skills, good behavior, and positive self-esteem.
